This Privacy Policy describes how Parrot AI (“Parrot AI,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), a Nevada company, collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Parrot AI mobile app and https://www.tryparrotai.com/ (collectively, the “Service”), and what choices you have with respect to that information. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Capitalized terms used and not defined in this Privacy Policy have the meanings given to them in our Terms of Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account Data. When you create an account, we collect information such as your name, email address, and account credentials. If you log in through a third-party service (such as Google or Apple), that service sends us your information at your direction, as permitted by that service.
User Content. The prompts, messages, files, images, audio, and other material you input into the Service (“Input”), and the responses and content the Service generates based on your Input (“Output”). Please do not include sensitive personal information in your Inputs.
Payment Data. If you purchase a subscription, payment information (such as payment card details and transaction details) is processed by our third-party payment processors (such as the Apple App Store). We do not store your full payment card information.
Communication Data. If you contact us (for example, by email), we collect the information you provide, including your name, email address, and the contents of your messages.
Technical and Usage Data. Information collected automatically when you use the Service, such as your IP address, device type, operating system, browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, and information about how you interact with the Service (for example, the features you use and the duration of a page visit).
Cookies and Similar Technologies. We and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies to operate and improve the Service, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic.

2. How We Collect Information

Directly from you, when you create an account, use the Service, make a purchase, or communicate with us.
Automatically, when you use or interact with the Service, including through cookies and analytics tools.
From third parties, such as Google or Apple when you log in through their services, and our payment processors when you make a purchase.

3. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To provide, operate, and maintain the Service;
To respond to your Inputs and generate Outputs, including by transmitting your Inputs to the AI service providers described in Section 4;
To process payments and manage your subscription;
To provide customer support;
To develop and improve the Service and to conduct research, including identifying usage trends and analyzing how the Service is used;
To communicate with you, including about changes to the Service, your account or subscription, and renewal or expiration notices;
To ensure the security and integrity of the Service, and to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and technical issues;
To comply with our legal obligations and to enforce our agreements and rights, including billing and collection; and
For any other purpose we describe when you provide the information, or with your consent.

We may aggregate, pseudonymize, or de-identify your information so that it no longer identifies you, and use it for the purposes described above. We do not sell your personal information.

4. How We Share Information

We share your information only as described below:

AI service providers. To generate responses and content, we share your Inputs with third-party artificial intelligence providers. For example, when you use the chat features of the Service, your queries may be sent to AI providers such as xAI or OpenAI. If you create or edit images, your uploads may be shared with AI vendors such as Replicate. These providers process your information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
Service providers. We share information with contracted service providers that help us operate the Service and our business, such as providers of hosting, cloud, analytics, customer support, and payment processing services (including the Apple App Store).
Legal purposes. We may disclose information to comply with applicable laws or to respond to lawful requests and legal process, to enforce our agreements and policies, and to protect the rights, property, and safety of Parrot AI, our users, and others.
Business transfers. In connection with any merger, financing, acquisition, bankruptcy, or sale or transfer of all or a portion of our business or assets, subject to applicable law.

Any third party with which we share your personal information is required to provide the same or equal protection of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. We share only the information reasonably necessary for the third party to perform its services, and we do not permit our service providers to use your personal information for their own independent purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as we have an ongoing legitimate business need to do so, and as required by law. User Content that you request to be deleted will be queued for deletion, which may take up to 30 days, except where a longer retention period is required for legal, compliance, or safety purposes.

6. Security

We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect your personal information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no security measure or method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and you provide your information at your own risk. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for signing out of your account after your sessions.

7. Children’s Privacy

As noted in our Terms of Service, the Service is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a teenager between the ages of 13 and 17, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Service. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling your request, and we will respond within the time frame required by applicable law. Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland may have additional rights under applicable law and may contact us at the same address to exercise them.

The Service may contain links to, or allow you to connect with, third-party websites and services that are not operated by us. Third-party websites and services have their own terms and privacy policies, which you should read before submitting any personal information to them. This Privacy Policy does not apply to information you provide directly to third parties.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will publish the updated version on this page, unless another type of notice is required by applicable law. Your continued use of the Service after any changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
